Default Where to put jack stands on the Q7?

Going to rotate the tires soon but I was curious where to put the jack stands? Has anyone done tire rotation him/her self?

I'm going to, but just bought 2 jacks, easy front-rear swaps this way, and lift front or rears together with a little shuffling. If you are getting under it, then I put jack stand on lower wishbone to subframe connection (A6 at least).

I put my winter wheels on last week, and while you can do that in the front, you can't for the rear. There's a plastic air deflector covering almost all of the lower part of the suspension arm. That would be destroyed by the jack before you even got the tire off the ground. I very carefully used the factory jack points just in front of the wheel and about 4" inboard from the rocker panel. Going to look to see if there's a jack pad adapter like is available for BMWs.

I only rotate when switching seasons, so never have to have more than one wheel in the air at a time and not getting under the car, therefore I just use the jack (no stand). If I were rotating, I'd just use two jacks like Mesquite77, or a jack stand in the front (where both the jack point and suspension arm are available) and jack only in the rear (on the jack point).

I think I am just going to use 2 jacks to rotate tires. I won't be getting under the car so it would be just fine.

In reference to geko29 above: I bought this cheap jack pad adapter a few months ago, but have not tested it out yet. Looks like it will work fine though. Waiting another month before switching to my winter wheels at which point I'll test it.

I had found a much nicer, metal one somewhere as well, but it was overpriced and I figure I only use it twice a year, so this should do.

Yes, and with a jack pad (hockey puck also works) for a floor jack. 2nd pic looks like you've been off roading it?

Those look like the MKII TT pucks would fit in there.
