Audi replacing my knock sensors..Hopfully this will fix my power loss issues.

I need to know. Found out tonight I still have the exact problem. Transmission and
torque converter and two turbos later. Still cuts out at same point under full acceleration. Saw your post on RS6.com and I now am wondering if that is it for some of these cars. Appearently mine is in the same boat as yours.

Could be alotta things.. thats the problem so far. These guys dont know how to pinpoint
problems with this motor as they have like zero knowlege of the inner workings of the design.. Every tech tells me that Audi is so secretive about what does what and why that they never get explanations to their querstions. Only " Try this and see if it fixes it"...
Some folkes have had problems with a batch of faulty wiring harnesses that causes power loss and flashing lights etc.. Others have had the ECU replaced.. Others have had an overboost at full throttle which shuts the turbos down.. this might be whats wrong with yours..
something to do with the wastegates...
I'll report back and hopefully my car will finally be fixed..Other than this recurring problem, the rest of the car has been great..

I really just want to see how fast Russ can get at dropping the engine out of an RS6. Yep I am
still overboosting. Not anywhere near as bad as before but still is doing it. Gonna wait awhile on bringing it back in. Kinda not wanting to live with the loaner again for weeks at a time just yet.

A few days later 6 runs full throttle in sport mode...no problem...and my God is this thing fast.
I have no idea what or why my car would be doing what it does. No hesitation, no nothing tonight as I had space to stretch the 0 to 60 runs without running people over. Zero issues tonight. Only difference I got gas at Shell a few hours ago on empty instead of BP downtown, but temp/weather and my approach all the same. Has a mind of its own.
