2021 Headlight coding?
Hello,
I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing a new 2021 C8 RS7.
I noticed that the car has HD matrix headlight with laser light.
I'm guessing that they disabled many advanced features for US cars, compared to Eurospec highlights.
I did a quick search on this topic on AudiWorld and got a lot of hits on other models, but didn't see too much on C8 RS7 specifically.
Help, please.
Is my assumption correct that the highlights' functions are detuned for US cars?
if so, are there any coding available to unlock them?

You are correct, the function of the headlights is limited in the US. While the hardware is the same as that in the EU, the software is different. If the DOT ever approvs the matrix function, a software update at the dealer will enable it. So far, no way to code the matrix function on.
