cel problems help diag?
so, I got this car at auction.. no history didn't run so cant say much. here's my issues.
did intake cleaning.. removed flaps left rods and sensors hooked up. put it all together.
getting intermittent no communication with slave ecm. dbw throttle communication error. seems to only happen when i press the pedal. will run for a half second than die. now im getting bank one flap staying closed. possible actuator bad? camshaft position sensor. swapped sensors still same code and now misfiring bank two.
here are the codes
Camshaft position sensor (g163) P0348 short to plus constant with misfires time to time same bank.
second (slave) ecm U0115-0080- no communication - sometimes there sometimes not.
control module malfunction - Dbw Throttle monitoring P1388- seems to occur when i press the pedal. adapted many times. press pedal barely rev's.
didn't get a picture but now have consistent intake flap stuck closed bank one.
so, I've researched could be something with timing. how do I check to insure timing is correct? can i do that in vcds? do I need to remove valve covers? or rear cam cover?
could be a fuse blown? maybe a ground is bad? where are the ground locations?
as far as flap could be sensor actuator bad?
