Jason, i've been interested in spacers but told by my mechanic that it might throw off something-or-other...i'm not that bright to recall. would a 10mm on front and back really affect the look of my RS4? and does the added width pose any possible negative reprecussions? i know you gotta sell em, but would appreciate your experience.

It would definitely give your RS4 a wider more muscly stance.

10mm is pretty mild for a spacer so you shouldn't have nay issues.

Tons of customers run spacers with absolutely no negative aspects. Some say you'll rub the inside of your fenders but it all depends on if your vehicle is lowered and the offset of your current wheels.

I hope this helps!

Yep - I have been running spacers on my car for about four years and they have not been a issue. The only thing you will have to be careful of is getting longer wheel bolts if you do not have more than a few threads of the OEM bolts engaging the rotor.

I ran studs for a few years but then I measured the length of bolts I needed for my summer rims and got rid of the studs.

Thanks for the feed back and posting the pics! Love the white, absolutely stunning! Definitely rare to see an RS4 that color.

Also as a rule of thumb for running the correct size wheel bolts with spacers: Always add the size of the spacer to the stock lug bolt size to get the new wheel bolt size. Ex. 27mm(stock Audi wheel bolt length) + 10mm(spacer size) = 37mm(minimum length wheel bolt that can be used with 10mm spacers).

Cheers!

I've also heard you need at least 7 threads. Any validity to that?

I've always heard minimum of 6 threads deep for safety.

7 would be fine as well. Just be sure not to over thread since Audi hubs are open at the back and you can easily thread a bolt too deep causing it to interfere with the brakes!

This is why you really don't want to go too much larger than the width of the spacer added to the stock bolt size when choosing longer bolts.

I can attest to that - I forgot that I have different size spacers and obviously different size bolts - and put some of the longer bolts on the thinner spacer - they were too long and were hitting in the back
