I think that's typical of a red light camera ticket. If a cop writes the ticket, different story

In this part of the world (South Australia) you get demerit points automatically sent to the person linked to the registration of the vehicle. If you want to dispute that it's not yourself, you have to Stat Dec and nominate who the driver was and they re-issue the ticket. Either way, there's points to be allocated.
