Singh Autosport - Info Request
Does anyone have any dealings with this group? If so, can you provide some feedback (regardless if you may have had them do work on something other than your RS4).
(And yes, their website is annoying as hell.)<ul><li><a href="http://www.singhautosport.com">CLICKY</a></li></ul>

For what its worth, I spoke with them via email today..
asking for more info. But beyond this I don't know anymore than you do. They were very courteous and fast to respond, here is what they said regarding the $1200 ECU upgrade..
"..We were the first company in North America to programme this car.
The results for this car are around 26hp using 91 octane, the rpm will be raised, speed limiter removed, we'll take away most of the hesitation and flat spots, etc, etc.
We can talk you through the removal of the ECU's, there's 2... one on the passenger side and one on the drivers side engine compartment. This car can not be flashed via OBD2, the ECU's have to be bench flashed (no soldering involved). "

Re: So Are you going to get the ECU upgrade from them?
Actually, by the time my car gets here and I put the required 1500mi break-in on it the GIAC/GMG chip and cold air combo should be out. I was told that would be around feb.
Interesting what they had to say, however. In a follow up I asked about 93 octane and they said they could advance the s/w timing a bit for 93 gas. I would be willing to try it if its the only solution out at the time, - we'll see..

not only that:
But since its flash, google has no way of knowing what this site is about, the only text there is the <title> tag. What is even funnier is that this page has <a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.singhautosport.com%2Fin dex2.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&docty pe=Inline&ss=1&group=0">11 errors</a> and only 15 lines of code.

Re: cheesy website
I went past there a couple of weeks ago. I agree with you guys about the music but when I got there it wasn't what I was expecting. Very knowledgable and a little cocky I think go hand in hand with these guys. When I got there they had just finished loading a European Launch control file and hardware into a Ferrari F430 (from what I learnt isn't available in the US?), that was impressive. When we spoke of my car they didn't seem too interested? one of the guys who I think is the owner told me what was involved, price and all. I mentioned GIAC, APR and some other tuners, his reply: "I work on high end cars, we also work on regular cars too including your RS4" and at that point I left. To sum them up, you'll see some impressive cars there. The attitude is a bit to deal with.
