What has your experience been with fuel additives / fuel injector cleaners? Specific brands? Know of any good write-ups on the subject?
Are they necessary if premium fuel is used exclusively? (very mixed opinions/views...on both additives and premium fuel)

80K+ miles on my B7 and not a drop of fuel injector cleaner needed. I stuck to great fuel (Chevron or Shell) and the car was just fine the entire time.

I also have 80k on my S4 and was wondering the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm interested to hear if there were any performance and/or MPG gains.

BJ, just refer to the P/N adjacent to the bar code.

It's about $8 at the Audi dealer. Probably $6 at the VW dealer. Bigger cars need two cans. Refer to label.
