Interior trim

I have seen people with the carbon fiber and aluminum interior, but does anyone have the black interior trim. It was called piano black for the RS4, but the dealer only found parts for "deep black". Is this the same glossy black like the "piano black". Anyone have any pics?

Found a place with a decent price on the whole kit. I can't stand the wood trim.

Ive seen one B6 with piano black interior, it was at my dealership in an A4, I contemplated

switching mine for it, back when I had burl wood but I decided on aluminum instead. The black looks good in person but I noticed that it looks a bit faded in sunlight and not like a jet black that you would like, more like dull shiny black... Very few people wanted/ordered it, go with fish scale aluminum if you want the sporty look of carbon fibre for a quarter of the price...

dealer's quote for the aluminum was 750. I've seen it on another site for ~$600. Not sure, but I definitely need to get rid of the wood.

you should talk with the GM of your dealership or a salesman your friendly with and see about

trading out your burl wood for aluminum from a used A4 sitting on the lot, I would imagine you could work out some sort of an agreement... might be cheaper than buying all new interior trim and worrying about selling your old trim... just a thought...
