Remote programming

Just pulled the trigger on an '04 S4 Avaunt. Can the remote key be programmed to open/close all windows? Any other usefull remote tricks? I had my old remote programmed to open all locks.

Yes, sure can. check out ross-tech dot com for some more tweaks.

Also, check out the vag locator in my sig for someone with a vag near you that can do the programming. Better than going to the dealer and paying for it.

Is remote start possible?

I have it on my Pathfinder but I had to get it aftermarket. It comes in handy on hot days when I want to start the AC before I actually get inside.

Don't think it's going to get past the immobilizer.

Bah...I guess the best we can do to help with the heat is to lower the windows via remote.
