Pathetic. Wannabe Top Gear Drivers. Say what you will about Top Gears Jeremy or Capt Slow's reviews. They do know how to drive and drive well.
These kids are not only unfunny (hard as they try) they cant drive.
Put all that together and when a real comparison comes out I'll think about it. To even throw that Acura in this group is like putting a souped up scooter in with a Ducati and Suzuki.

They couple that in the morning with a tour and dinner at the winery in the afternoon. They usually coincide this on a Thurs or Fri with the trip down for the fall track weekend at Portland International Raceway.

It was a weird dynamic - It was like the douschy guy who put the Evo in the embankment ran the show, the girl was his sister and the other guy was trying to creep on that action without the dousche nozzle finding out...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they aren't going to go far.

These guys do have quite a few video's they have put together...they need a better, more repeatable test process to improve their results. I liked the comments about the cars in general...especially when the chick was pulling off in the TL and she said "I wish I was in that Audi S4". At least they got that part right!
They talked about the SH-AWD but don't even mention our Sports Diff? What's the deal with that?
The Evo and the S4 would probably be a very close match on that course.
There is no way that TL would beat the S4 on that course...or any course for that matter. I don't believe it for a second. The S4 beats a 335i and even comes very close to a M3...so based on that video it would mean a TL could perform closer to a M3 than our S4?? Again...no way.

The TL (with SH-AWD, 6 speed manual, and performance tire option, and professional driver) holds its own pretty well against the S4 in the tests I've read. Usually doesn't win but does a very respectable job. It's not as competitive with their 5 speed (now 6 speed for 2012) automatic or without the SH-AWD package and tire package. I just don't believe the margin of victory in this particular test, given the driver missed a corner, stopped, and had to back up in the TL on his run.

Did they ever mention their S4 having sports diff or ADS? I didn't catch any mention of it, though I'm not about to subject myself to another viewing to double check. I wonder if their test car lacked those options. Still, shouldn't have made that big of a difference.
I did notice in their credits they thanked Acura NA and Mitsubishi NA, but not Audi. Perhaps there's a bit of "no pay, no play" going on there.
They also have quite a few other videos featuring the Acura TL. Hmmm...
