Thanks for the info and link!!! I'm pumped, as I expected a $1k increase and it's really only $200. Kinda like I just got $800 more off my car!
Audi's website might as well get with the program, as virtually all the 2011s are gone...

Wow, bumming me out with this pricing. One of the thngs that appealed to me about the S4 was its competitive pricing in relation to a comparable BMW. Now it doesn't look much different.
And BMW deliver fast and will deal on pricing.

If you want fast delivery and low pricing, Chevy and Toyota have those as well. BMW's are like *******s - everyone has one. I like the fact that Audi's and esp the S4's are relatively rare. Different philosophy at BMW vs Audi. It's a GOOD thing.

I guess I'm not seeing the (lack of) value argument. Whether one dealer or another will negotiate on price is up to the dealer. The one area I believe BMW clearly has the advantage, price-wise, is leasing. BMW appears to have MUCH higher residual values for its cars than Audi does. This I find a bit spooky. To me it means that Audi has little confidence in the long-term value of its products. Audi believes its products will depreciate much more rapidly than BMW believes its will. That's just my read. It could simply be that Audi wants to discourage leasing, while BMW wants to encourage it. Either way, BMW and Audi are very far apart on the leasing front. If that's your issue with Audi's pricing, then I'd say you're very much correct - and that it has nothing to do with 2012 pricing.
As far as speed of delivery goes, I've got nothin'. The 3-series is high-volume; the S4 is not. I'll wait for my S4.
