Actually, you don't need to drop the motor at all. The manifolds are a 2 piece design for easy installation.

And how will you get the stock cats off of the car? They are two big too come out w/o the motor being moved... Looking forward to price and some #'s...

I don't see how, you can't get the old ones off without at least dropping the engine some.

Yes if you have the stock CATS you need to lower the engine on its mounts. Now if you have, lets say, the 034 HFC's already installed (me and PT) I would agree that you wouldn't need to have the engine lowered. I also think that those individuals would be ideal beta testers as they would be able to give a head to head comparison, and they also happen to be the two fastest B8 S4 so far!

We'll be looking for a test case on these when they are officially ready

I would be interested as well... can you answer how your got the stock cats out w/o moving the motor? Honestly, curious as it would have saved me some good $'s!

im questioning the lack of motor removal, i don't see how you can properly torque the bolts on the header with the next to no clearance, can you provide more information?
