Audi ranks #8 in Consumer Reports car issue!

Not sure what model year the report is based off, but I remember reading the B8 didn't get the best score for reliability due to the water pump, thermostat, and sport differential leak issues.
Again, not sure if the B8, or only the B8.5, is represented.

The 8th place finish is far better than anything in Audi's recent history. In the most recent JD Power Dependability rankings, for example, Audi is near the bottom third of the rankings. I guess I'm still a bit skeptical because Audi is unable to produce a small turbocharged engine that does not consume copious amounts of oil. Although I'm skeptical, I hope Audi's improvement is more than an aberration and my car does not self-destruct when the warranty ends.
