Brake squeal 2012 S4
So I took my 2012 S4 in for the infamous cold brake squealing issue and was told I already have the latest parts per TSB 2027636/5. They re-lubed the pins and sent a video to Audi of the squeal. Of course the squeal went away as it was later in the day and everything was warmed up. Needless to say the squeal has returned and I am in the process of scheduling another appointment.

Ordinarily I would simply replace but the car is still under warranty plus I had Akebono + Stoptech(Centric) rotors on my old A6 and I wasn't really that pleased.

Had my 13 S4 in 3-4 times already for the brake squeal, was told I'm "not driving the car hard enough". Sent a letter to AoA and received a phone call from them saying "we received your letter and will document it in your case file however you already know Audi's stance on brake noise and if needed we can mail out another pamphlet".
Will follow this thread hopefully you'll have better luck than I have had.

What about the Akebono + Stoptech(Centric) system didn't you like? I am considering the same system for my 2013 S4 when it arrives.

On my A6 they started to "warp" or "unevenly deposit" too soon after installation. I got the S4 shortly after so I'm not sure whether it was the rotor runout or the pad deposits either way I had not had issues like that before with other compound and rotors.

Me...I'm headed to Black Forest Industries here in the RTP area of NC (where I fortunately live) for new rotors and the pads that have been discussed. All on a vehicle with just 19k miles (and no squeal last winter).
