Dimming gauge center

anybody figure out how to dim the center display between the tach and speedo independently, for me its too bright in comparison. Probably have to be a VAG-com setting because I sure can't find a way in the manual and sent Audi technology an E-mail and got, we're sorry but we don't know how

most cars, center display and speedo dimmed as same group.

I can see that the dash dimming also adjusts the driver display but agree with you, it is still too bright even at the lowest setting. If anyone knows a way to do it, please share.
