i have my 2011 s4 at the dealer getting the stasis ecu and awe intake. Also the touring suspension from stasis. I'm debating on putting an exhaust on my car but not sure if its necessary. Should i go with stasis since im getting most of the mods thru them? Or AWE, Miltek, or APR? Will i get a nice sound and performance from my awe intake?
can i ask u a question? what is the difference between resonated and non resonated? Will the down pipes affect my warranty?
For our exhausts, the difference between Resonated and Non-Resonated is in the Downpipes. Our system is available three main configurations, listed from quietest to loudest:
AWE Tuning exhaust with AWE Tuning Resonated Downpipes
AWE Tuning exhaust with factory downpipes
AWE Tuning exhaust with AWE Tuning Non-Resonated Downpipes
The factory downpipes have a small straight through resonator. Our Resonated Downpipes feature a larger than factory resonator to help control the volume more than the factory downpipes can. Our Non-Resonated Downpipes eliminate the resonators altogether for a louder overall tone.
Ultimately what affects your warranty comes down to your local service advisor, but like m444 said the downpipes do not alter the catalytic converters so you shouldn't have any issues.
Hope that helps clear a few things up. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
