Facelift flat bottom wheel installed with pics
)It is literally a plug and play 15 minute install, and that was including getting some junk out of my trunk and removing the spare. I followed the instructions for wheel removal on DavidB8's website here http://www.audienthusiasts.com/ProjectSteeringSwap.html. Rotate the wheel to 90 degrees, unplug the negative terminal and slide cover over to prevent arcing, unscrew the airbag with T30 allen keys, unplug 2 plugs, re-center wheel, unscrew the wheel with T55 socket and extension, line up new wheel and push on, screw in the T55 screw, attach the black steering wheel controls harness, attach the yellow airbag harness, push the new airbag in until the clips attach (no T30 screws on the new airbag), reattach negative terminal, replace spare, crank car, test all functions. It was that simple.Crappy cell phone pics below. As you can see, it's nice and beefy. Noticeably thicker than the stock wheel.
