Well as the title states I will be hitting the strip this Friday evening (weather permitting). I'm very excited to see what she can do with my current mods but at the sametime nervous as it seems there is quite a performance spread between B8 S4s.
Any advice for a newbie?
Oh and Ron this one is a freebie don't worry about the $!
Hey Sak clear out some of your PM's - you got mail!
Awesome! Looking forward to your times. I've only gone twice, but I'd say remember to turn off ESP/ASR - you have to hold the button for a few seconds, otherwise only ESP or ASR turns off. Also, don't wear shorts. I made that mistake last time and had to buy a pair of sweats at the gift shop. I can't tell if you have a 2011 DSG, so I won't advise on launch control. In any event, good luck, and have fun!
I want to go some time too. I wonder if any of the local guys would be into it. Care to do some runs Bruce (in the name of data logging and some good ol' fun)?

Where can we do it around here? I'd be interested.

Lol there's so many of you guys on these forums. You should all have a gettogether at the dragstrip!

Scott- maybe after I get my APR EMCS ECU. I need to work on my 60' times first. I do have a Gtech RR, so can run 1/4's and 60' on a flat road for practice. I used the Gtech RR for 1/4's, 60', 0-60 on my B5 S4 (example below, stage 2+ B5 S4). I have never run at the strip though.

Actually, we are getting together this weekend, but not at the strip! We will have some of our Canadian brothers from the greater Vancouver area coming down for this weekend. Drives and steaks and such. There are a number of us B8 S4 guys in the greater Seattle area and we have had several GTG's. We also have a strong PNW Audi group here over on the QW forum as well.
