Exactly I was about to say you're concerned about swirls marks on a white car?

Can you comment on the adaptive c/c after you've used it a few times? I want it on my next car and have wondered how effective it is (i.e., does it work as advertised, or is it good on paper but not in application). Thanks in advance. Your car looks awesome.

Looks great, but appears to be missing a pedal.

If he lives in Texas, why would having a radar detector be an issue?

Great looking car and I'm not usually a fan of white!

Car looks great? When did you actually order the car? I have one coming also from Sewell. Ordered it end of July and should be here first week of October. Did you ask them not to install the chrome Sewell letters on the back of the car?

Congrats! I've bought my last 4 Audis from Sewell (formerly Millennium Audi) and am good friends with David Viera the GM there. Great folks and a great car! Hit me up if you need any help picking out mods for it

In Texas we're free to run radar detectors all day long, in plain view of everyone. No issues here. Laser jammers on the other hand are HIGHLY illegal.

Just find a red display 9500i and send it in to upgrade to the 9500ix. http://www.escortradar.com/9500iupgrade.php

Turned out to be cheaper than just getting the blue 9500ix and it matches the interior lighting nicely. =)

Not if you get full panel coverage. I have full hood, fenders, and front bumper and you cannot see the clear bra on those panels. Yes, it is expensive but not a PITA at all.

This part is just not true. Unless you live in Virginia(in which case get a Redline and mount it high or a Bel STi-R Plus), cops do not have Spectres. They are legal everywhere else so why the heck would departments spend money on them? And no, even in Virginia they cannot detect a detector that is turned off and unplugged. That said, having one makes it unlikely you'll get a warning so best practice is to mount it in a location that isn't readily visible and if you happen to get pulled over, take it down immediately (with the mount) and put it under the seat.

As far as the jammers, with the OP being in Texas I would be extra careful as they just passed a law making them illegal there. I think the ticket is less than a speeding ticket and won't increase your insurance but not positive on that. If I were the OP I'd get them and get a black grill and mount them in the grill. As long as you JTK, the cops wouldn't be any the wiser.

Also, Escort now sells the 9500ix with a red display
