Can you comment on the adaptive c/c after you've used it a few times? I want it on my next car and have wondered how effective it is (i.e., does it work as advertised, or is it good on paper but not in application). Thanks in advance. Your car looks awesome.

Car looks great? When did you actually order the car? I have one coming also from Sewell. Ordered it end of July and should be here first week of October. Did you ask them not to install the chrome Sewell letters on the back of the car?

In Texas we're free to run radar detectors all day long, in plain view of everyone. No issues here. Laser jammers on the other hand are HIGHLY illegal.

5) Yes. I'm not sure what detector I'm getting yet though. Because my car has Side Assist & Adaptive Cruise I'd like to try a few out first. I have a friend that is going to loan me his Passport 9500ix when he gets back in town. However, I'm not thrilled with the blue display since the S4 has primarily red lighting.
Turned out to be cheaper than just getting the blue 9500ix and it matches the interior lighting nicely. =)

As far as the jammers, with the OP being in Texas I would be extra careful as they just passed a law making them illegal there. I think the ticket is less than a speeding ticket and won't increase your insurance but not positive on that. If I were the OP I'd get them and get a black grill and mount them in the grill. As long as you JTK, the cops wouldn't be any the wiser.
