Keyless Problem
I bought S4 Avant (2009 model - B8) for 2 years. But, I replaced the senors of Keyless system on the door handheld twice already. Unfortunately, I got the same problem again today. Did anyone has the same problem ?

I had my passenger door replaced a few months ago and the advanced key wasn't working afterward. Not sure if the sensor was damaged or just not re-installed properly. When it was replaced one of the things the service tech told me was if one sensor fails, the whole system is disabled (which makes sense...you don't want to think its all working when one door is really open). Its likely that you've had only one sensor fail each time, possibly even the same one.

Had this in my last A4. Stopped working right after about 1 year. Would work sporadically.

What kind of QC does Audi has had ? I replaced 3 senors out of 4 of handle just 2 years. I didn't expect a German car liked that. I am very disappointed !!
In fact, my car broke down with water pump pipe leakage after I bought the car in 7 months even though the dealer fixed it for free. The fireman was ready to put out the heavy smoke from the head of car. I was a little bit lucky I went back to the car on time otherwise my car would be totally wipe off by the water.
