Default SMH... Touching up..

So looks like the water based paints and clear coats suck at holding up to road debris in terrible winters.. I seem to have about 8-9 chips all at the very front of my hood. They are very small but I know they are there... So now the question is this. I will go buy touch up paint kit from audi for my Ibis to be matched correctly... Is this lanka stuff any good on newer paints?

http://www.langka.com/

And for those of you that have used it do I need the full kit or is the blob remover sufficient if I am gonna add the audi clearcoat to it after first day of doing just the paint.

My Plan:
Use the Audi touch up paint let dry for a day then use blob remover to make it even. Then put blob of audi clearcoat and then use blob remover day after to smooth out clear coat.

The chips seem to be down to the metal which shows how thinly coated out cars are with paint. I guess from now forward I will be having ventureshield or equal product applied to my cars.

LOL to the sell the car comment. I love my car just want to make it look better without wasting money on a product that doesnt work. I heard good stuff bout Langka since you use the factory touchup paint etc but then some people say it didnt work well. I just want to get what actually works. then clearbra my entire hood

Car owners have to make an early choice. Either clear bra the car immediately or face the consequences. It has been my experience that the more highway miles you put on the car, the more stone chips you get. Yes, you can touch up the chips. But if they really bother you, get the hood resprayed and after it cures properly, put on a claer bra material. Now here's the rub. Hopefully, your newly painted front end will not chip before it has time to cure and apply the material.

Yea this is true and most of my miles are all highway so Im sure Ill be touching up often...

Anyone can recommend any of the two products in question? Im not looking for perfection just want to protect the metal hood from any rusting etc..

Langka or Dr Colorchip or any other option that has worked well for you in the past?

just enjoy the car...these things aren't going to last more than 5 years anyway...why protect it like its a classic ferrari, let people know you blasted through winter in style and all you got was a few chips in the paint while everyone else hid inside or was stuck in a drift.
