5psi of boost....intermitten.....whats wrong?

Default 5psi of boost....intermitten.....whats wrong?
every one and a while my car will only boost 5 pounds, then the problems seems to go away on its own. only happends once in a while and only lasts for a half hour....

whats going on?

Default Seems like your going in to limp mode
I would pressure test and check IC hoses.

i thought limp mode was 7 psi.???

Default vag .. my friend has G235 (pass side sensor 1) bad - code :"implausible signal"
it went a few times in limp-mode @ wot.
check for codes in the ecu.

Default not hard at all .. pass side from up above and the dr side from underneath
Steve Trac wrote a while back a nice thread about replacing both of these .. so search for it.
