stripped or stripping?
for stripping:
-use a new bit
-clean the hex completely out
-then hammer the hex bit in
ive had success grabbing some "unstripped" hex at the bottom of it, which is coincidentally the strongest part of the hex.
try this before going 'ape-****' on it with a bolt extractor.
