Is the clutch switch covered under cpo???
i was doing some searching and someone said it might be the clutch switch...
i have to press my clutch down to the floor to start, but shifting is in normal position

Sounds normal to me...the whole point of having to depress the clutch all the way down is for safety
...just so there is no chance that the clutch is engaged even the slightest bit when the motor is fired up.

Pull the cover yourself and adjust it.
I picked up my car and cruise didn't work. Turned out to the the clutch switch. (thought the clutch was depressed when it was actually out so it wouldn't engage. I screwed it in more and I have cruise back. U can pull the kick panel and look at the switch, and adjust it, or CPO will cover it. If you want to know more about your car give it a look. Took me 15-20 mins, and I didn't know really what I was looking for.
If the switch is dead it will need to be replaced, if it is just improperly adjusted you can fix it yourself.
