Dealer says they will adjust my moonroof to end the wind "whistling" noise at highway speeds...
After you remove the covers, return the roof to its closed position, this is where you will be doing the adjusting. You should try to centre the sunroof front to back within the opening, and have the glass just a little bit higher than the metal roof of the car. I'm talking 1/16". This will ensure that the roof seal sits tight all the way around the roof edges.
You can test it by pouring water over the closed sunroof. The problem area will become clearly evident as the water runs through the seal. I wish I had pictures of this, but it is very easy to do. Probably best to have a friend help you with the alignment from the outside of the car.
