This advisory is to remind Dealers that Audi will not reimburse any warranty claims relating to repairs of
damage caused by the installation of non-genuine Audi parts into any Audi vehicle, including, but not limited
to, "chip tuning" or other modifications of factory installed engine management systems.
The Limited New Vehicle Warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions which are the result of improper
repair of the vehicle, installation of any Non-Genuine Audi part(s), that will alter the vehicle performance
specifications from those set by the vehicle manufacturer, modifications to the vehicle (including the engine
management system), accessories such as alarm systems or communication equipment, defects or failures
resulting from the use of new parts not sold or approved by Audi, or used parts, or the resultant damage to
associated parts or systems.
