Do all aftermarket exhausts decrease clearance on the car?
I'm considering an exhaust but if it will make my car's clearence any lower, then i might not be able to get it now. I have a new driveway to use this year and I am told that it scrapes on some cars.

Date: Jan. 19, 2001
This advisory is to remind Dealers that Audi will not reimburse any warranty claims relating to repairs of
damage caused by the installation of non-genuine Audi parts into any Audi vehicle, including, but not limited
to, "chip tuning" or other modifications of factory installed engine management systems.
The Limited New Vehicle Warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions which are the result of improper
repair of the vehicle, installation of any Non-Genuine Audi part(s), that will alter the vehicle performance
specifications from those set by the vehicle manufacturer, modifications to the vehicle (including the engine
management system), accessories such as alarm systems or communication equipment, defects or failures
resulting from the use of new parts not sold or approved by Audi, or used parts, or the resultant damage to
associated parts or systems.

Well they can try -- but see -- there was this other circular distributed by the Federal Government
Its called the Magnuson-Moss Act. I think people should read it (and the interpreting case law) carefully.
Fat chance they can deny an drivetrain warranty claim for cell phone equipment. And they will have a hard time doing it for a Cat-back.
