EGT only 10min :) ...
I managed to unbolt and get out drivers side EGT in 10 min.
I only took off Y pipe, took a side coolant tank, unbolted heat shield and with normal 17mm wrench got it!!!
So i say it is doable from engine bay!

luck.
2ndary air in the way with tip.
routing harder with tip -- both boxes are mounted together on the passenger side of the back of the throttle body.
and lastly..
it took me 1hr or more, with subframe lowered while doing downpipes. in other words..
SHUTUP :P
