Fixed airbag code 00588.
I kept getting the following code: 00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95)
33-10 - Resistance too Low - Intermittent
SmokinS4 was having a similar code and replaced his spiral spring and that fixed it. He was also nice enough to make a writeup on replacing it and recoding the steering angle sensor. I followed his instructions and it hasn't thrown a code yet so I believe it is resolved. It was really easy, only took about an hour to replace it and recode the sensor.

So once you change it you need to restart the system? To clear the code????
Because I just changed the clock spring and the Air bag light is still on but I have restated or cleared the code yet.
Will it go away once I clear the codes?
