How do you get to the slave cylinder bleed valve?

How do you get to the slave cylinder bleed valve?

I'm trying to bleed my clutch slave cylinder (00 S4) and can't manage to get at it from underneath--the axle and axle cover are in the way. Do those need to be removed first? I can just barely touch the bleed valve with my fingers from top, but there's no way I can get a wrench in there to loosen it. Can anyone that's done this offer any advice?

my mechanic got to it from the top i believe...by taking off the coolant reservoir and you should be able to get to it from the top

I was able to get to it from the bottom after removing the axle shield, but it was still a really tight fit to get my hand and a wrench up in there. I initially tried from the top (after removing the overflow tank) but that seemed like an even tighter fit.

Anyways, got the system bled with a power bleeder, but still getting the same symptoms as before--clutch doesn't disengage fully when it's hot out, which probably means there's air in the lines. I didn't see any leaks at either the master or slave, though. I did let about 3.5fl oz run out, which is what the manual recommends. Maybe I need to try again?
