How much power are K04/K16 turbos good for vs PJ K04's? Also, who makes K04/K16

specific fueling?

I think the popular choices of KO4 hybrids nowadays are either RS6 compressors, or the 997

compressors. I believe there were some issues with the K16's? Look into that... something about internal pressure of the turbo IIRC.

You should look into some genuine RS6 turbos though... The RS4 KO4s are limited by their hot side.

As far as tuning, i don't believe anyone makes an OTS kit for KO4/K16. Any knowledgeable tuner should be able to set you up with hardware/tuning no problem though. I went with Vast's setup.

Skip K04/K16s. Many of us tried them and most didn't have good results. Go RS6/K04s if you want a...

K04 based hybrid. Then again, for that much money you are better off doing straight RS6s IMO. I'd never mess with a K04 hybrid ever again with the other options available these days.

Here is a mini timeline of how my K16 hybrid experience went with links to a few old posts...

First, Jacob hand delivered one of many sets of turbos I had in my possession before finally settling on a set to install:
