I am curious as well....
Looking to get back into an Audi in the next 6 months or so...and I've always wanted an S4.
Had to sell my Pelican A4 in June due to having to pay two mortgage payments...but I'm definitely looking into trying to pick up a well cared for Nogaro Avant...

After trying and failing w/ all the usual treatments, this Busch polish is the
only stuff I've found that really cleans up the alum rr's (then I hit 'em up w/ a coat of Glanz wax). Been over a month since I polished & waxed 'em and even my nit-picky son thinks they still look brand new.

Exactly. Who cares? So why should I post it?...
IMO, someone looking for an Avant should determine what it's worth to them and make that the price they are willing to pay. If it was more of a commodity like a silver sedan or something then I would be glad to post the price to give someone an idea of what he or she should/could pay. The fact of the matter is, if you are looking for a specific Avant and that car comes along but you decide that the price is too high based on what others have paid, you will miss out and that car may never come around again.

I completely agree...
As that is exactly how I felt about my Pelican A4 when I bought her back in '05...
It was going to be my graduation present to myself, I knew what I wanted, and that was exactly what I got.
Probably one of the rarest B5 A4's possible. Only ther options were Avant, Black sport seats instead of the Gray, and the Cell phone.
It had everything else!
That's exactly how I feel about trying to locate a Nogaro/Blue Alcantera Sedan/Avant...I'll decide what my chriteria is and wait for the right one to come along...
However, if you are willing, I wouldn't mind knowing how much your specimine went for...as a comparison to start from...
