Default I hate short shifters
I can't stand how some short shifters actually cut down your shift lever to reduce the length of the throw. It feels like I'm playing with a mouse rather than shifting gears. On top of that, I've gotta reach like two feet from the steering wheel just to get to the shifter. That's why I'm happy with my B&M long shifter

Since the shifter does increase the leverage beneath the pivot, there is a decrease in travel. But now with the extension, I'm back to normal (stock) travel but with a shift **** that's closer to my steering wheel than before Happy days.
