Default Logged again today (52F)..... it seems the more I log, the faster

the times... averaging my 3 runs, which were all clean and flat, I got 5.12 average FATS times with higher MAF numbers than last week when the temps were lower and the APR logs averaged 5.2... weird... That's 2/3 tenths better than the MTM logs... no time for lower RPM tests, but I hope to spend a day comparing those at some point.

Block 115 seemed solid.

I'm kinda using this is my log diary... when I have something new and exciting to share, I'll definitely post a new thread...

Default I logged a 5.1 FATS with APR versus 5.6 FATS with MTM

BUT, MTM is just much more drivable and feels much better. The upper revs is what kills the FATS time but that's not where you usually are in the powerband. MTM's torque down low easily outtrumps APR, something ANY butt dyno can tell.

Default My butt dyno said the same, but when I compared a few

lower RPM runs, APR was still equal or faster. This surprised me. I kinda want MTM to be faster since I also like the feel better. I think I'll do some more lower RPM tests in a higher gear at some point... while I continue to look for an AMS A-box

Default Got AMS yesterday. Felt great. More inside (and a link to a brand new thread)...

Drivability is excellent. Better than APR because it seems less laggy and more torquey at low RPM. Perhaps better than MTM because, while it doesn't have the overdose of low-end torque of MTM, it doesn't unintentionally boost with slight throttle when you don't want it to.

I drove it hard after warm-up wanting the ECU to adapt ASAP. Lag seemed reduced, power seemed smooth and abundant. It is certainly a very nice piece of code.

I'll post further impressions with FATS data when the weather gets back up to 50 degrees so it's comparable to my MTM and APR logs...

Link to new thread with same comments...
