Mi car is using TOO much coolant, has anybody faced this prob?,advices...More

My car is spending too much coolant...like 1 per week i have to fill it up,but i dont see any leaking on the floor or anything! sh"t, whats going on?...before I go to any mecanic here ,not very experienced with this car in my country

,i prefeer experiensed advises and how can I solve it? Thanks ya all

My money is on the afterrun pump, take off the engine covers, and look underneath your intake

manifold. Can you see any pink stuff? How about if you look between the motor and the firewall?

check the coolant resevoir . . . they have a tendency to crack and deteriorate after a while . . .

I had to replace the entire tank (not expensive though) it was $50us or less . . . just a suggestion

Also, take the plastic cover off from under the car and have a look. I recently had a leaky coolant

fitting on the turbo THEN the afterrun pump leaked.

BTW, my coolant resevoir cracked a year ago and had to be replaced.

I'm experiencing this right now.....

my car is actually at the dealer as we speak. I took it there yesterday and they pressure checked it for what they said was a half an hour. Found no leaks. They told me that they didn't know what it was, but that the car checked out and was fine and it was ok to drive!!!! I said BS. I've filled up 3 times in the pass month. I told them to try and pressure check it this morning when the engine was cold. So far I haven't heard anything from them. I hoping that when the car is cold the leak will show itself!!! Damn dealer.......I'll try to update if I hear anything.
