Default Multiple cylinder misfires... why?

My car has been misfiring for a while... any suggestions as to why?

Here are the DTCs I'm seeing...

16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16690 - Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
P0306 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0303 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I replaced the stock NGK plugs with new NGK plugs... same issues, I installed Denso IK22s and it was fixed for 100 miles or so, then it started happening again.

It's not bad gas (been through quite a few tanks), I thought it was an issue with the wiring (a few looked stripped), but I'm pretty sure it's that's not the case now. Since it's four cylinders, I'm guessing it's not coil packs (four going out at the same time?)

What else could it be?

TIA!

Default Mine did that once after it sat for about 2 weeks...I cleared the codes and they never came back...

sounds like this is more of a chronic problem though... :-(

Dunno... Just didn't seem likely - What kind of life should they have in theory?

Default I would have done that already if they weren't so expensive

Although they aren't that horribly bad over the stock cost if you have to replace anyway.

$871.44 for 6 Ignition solutions coils

or

$377.04 for 6 stockers.

hmm.

They have cool blinky leds and a hot spark..

Default Does anyone know at what point these could have any benefit on the car?....

I remember Mark (slvrbullet) saying something along the lines that they really don't make a difference until you're pushing a lot of power .. Would stage 2+ benefit? ..

Yeah, that'll generate them... or turning the key and letting go before it actually started.
