need some help recoding my ABS module
Hello,
I have vagcom and just swapped transmissions. I have a 6 speed with M box ecu now, where I had a tiptronic with J box ecu before.
The only remaining incompatibility issue is with the ABS module. It is coded to 04397, iirc. I know the last digit is 7, which means auto, and needs to be 5, which means manual (can also be 3 which means allroad manual, but that's not what I have).
When I try to set the soft coding to 04395, it seems to accept it, but then when I get back to the module screen it didn't take, and 04397 is still there. Is there a certain shop code value I need to use? A friend with an 01.5 s4 and M box has 64351 as shop code; I tried that, both under Login and just under Coding WSC, and it didn't get me anywhere.
