Oil pressure mystery solved. My oil pump was clogged up. I took apart the oil pan today with
JHam_CT (Jeff) today. We were going to replace the oil pan and oil pump if necessary. We dumped a can of flush in the case and ran the car. When we took off the belly pan we noticed, hey we're not the first guys in here. The gasket silicone on the pan was applied thick and sloppy, so thick that it was in the inside of the pan.

Jeff started cleaning the oil pump and noticed a few pieces of the silicone were in the screen. So we cleaned the screen, installed the new oil pan with a nice coat of gasket silicone and left the old pump in there. Oh yeah, and one of the oil feed lines was missing an O-ring...WTF. This was definetly done by an Audi Dealer because when I purchased my car it was only less than 1K miles out of warranty. Make you feel all warm inside huh?

Well I took the car out a couple times today, got the oil temps up and no warning light under low RPMS (knock on wood). Thanks a ton Jeff for your help today!!
Oh and I found a leaking motor mount :-(

Good to know all is well, dude...
When it comes to something as important as keeping the oil system in good health, this car is too nice to settle for stealership-level service ; )
