Road America last week

Every year we head back to my in laws who have a lake cottage at Elkhart Lake, WI i.e. right next door to Road America. Although we didn't attend the actual race, we made it over for day 1 of practice.

Like others have said, it's amazing how quiet the Audi's are in comparsion to everyone else. Like jets vs. the usual roar. It was also a lot of fun seeing the LP1's effortlessly pull past the GT cars ;-)

Very nice photos. Great track too. Did you happen to make it to Siebkins for a drink while you...

were in Elkhart? The bar is pretty much a dive but has cheap drinks and many of the teams and drivers still stay there.

Thanks....and absolutely...

we drag the whole clan to the restaurant / bar at least once...and of course the ice cream right outside and bumper boats

We're usually 7-10 adults with 9-12 kids..close quarters, but a great way to stay in touch, esepcially for the kids.

resistance is futile

I'd hate to see it go, but financially it's the right thing for me to do right now. I was looking at all my other mods or other stuff i had lying around, and this is about the only one i could part with that would let me keep driving my car (i still have oem one) and get some cash back.
