Default A few things...

1. You need to graph your data in Excel. It's not that hard to do. Everyone in this day in age should be able to use Excel. Much easier to visualize.

2. Your requested boost never even reaches 1bar. What is the Oettinger chip? Never seen it and the website doesn't provide any info.

3. Despite your requested boost being "1950" max, your actual spikes to "2460"....which is a little over 21 psi after atmospheric subtraction. What altitude are you at?

So, you are massively overboosting. Do you have a BRAND NEW N75 valve in there? Don't use that N75k race valve and don't use an old OEM N75 valve.

What was the deal with your wastegate actuators?

Why wouldn't you use the N75k?

Default Why wouldn't I or why shouldn't he?...

I have no idea what his Oettinger chip is all about. He needs to share more info. My guess is that it's not designed for the response rate of the N75k. Most people seem to try this valve in an attempt to increase their boost but that's a ghetto way of doing it (and often doesn't work). Much like turning the screw on your OEM N75.

Default Ok, I was curious cause I just put in a N75k yesterday on a stock car

I was told the main difference is the N75k responds a bit quicker and that it shouldn't matter running it on a stock car since it is in parallel.

I should mention that I'm not doing it looking for boost increase, just was the only n75 that was in stock.

Default You know, not sure right now,

I was just told that it was a parallel system. I would have to look at the diagrams to figure it out as I admitedly haven't given that part of the system much thought before.

Default Be careful about throwing in random parts on your car when...

you don't know what they are for.

The term "parallel" usually refers to how one mounts a manual boost controller (MBC) - whether it's "in parallel" with the N75 valve or "alone" with the N75 taken out of the loop.

In your case, saying you have an N75k valve in parallel isn't really informative. It suggests that you have an MBC but there's no need for an MBC on a stock car...unless you are deleting the N75 valve...in which case you'd need other things to make it work properly (MAP clamp, etc).

Default No MBC, and I am always careful. I was told by a reputable tuner that the part would work fine

I know he wasn't talking about parallel with a MBC, I believe that he was talking about the N75 acts in parallel with the DV's, not sure though, I will look into it more later.

Thanks for the input.
