has anyone replaced a CHRA by themselves? ive heard it is fairly DIY since

you dont need to do any balancing, but rather just bolt it in.

anyone have links to any DIY rebuilds for any turbo? not just k04?

Did mine--if you can DIY the turbos out of the car, you can replace the CHRA's!

If you do replace them yourself, whatever you do, don't buy the CHRA's from Audspeed!!!

He screwed me over on my K04/16 rebuild. They blew right after installation, Blouch inspected them and said it was because he didn't have them balanced right, and he is trying to blame it on "excessive engine torque on the driver side bank"...yeah...BS...stay away from him.
