solid check engine light

check engine light came on today while cruising at 55 mph in 5th.

its solid (not blinking) but i have not noticed anything wierd.. no funny sounds/smoke power loss

is it safe to drive for a couple of days till i take it to a mechanic?

you sure its not the auto destruct sequence light?

maybe your passenger eject isn't working correctly?

the wifey was not happy when mine misfired and sent her into the neighbor's pool.

maybe loose gas cap or bad O2 sensor

I have the same problem and my lovely Audi dealer told me it was the catalytic converter and that it would cost me $1700. The light goes on and off so I am still thinking about it...
