I hear they have lots of issues in Europe on public hwy at that speed
The issue is the other drivers on the hwy here in the states. Nobody pays attention to what is behind them that is why we have so many "Left Lane cruisers" If the USA would go to a more strict licensing requirement and traffic offense enforcement our hwys would be much safer.
Tracks are the place for testing the limits of you and your car. If your car is capable of 200 mph and you are very in tune with driving it over 100 mph than cruising at 120 mph is not unsafe. Doing it in an environment that could cause an accident is.
