WHAA WHAA WHAA WHAA WHATS that noise
LOUD vibration noise coming from the rear of the car sounds more on the passenger side. loudest at 35mph but can hear it from about 10 and up. goes away when in right turns but comes back after i correct the turn.
appriciate any info
plus what do you guys do about a chilton manual, cant find one for S4
01 B5 S4 104k miles

I'm not sure about the Chilton, but you can get the Bentley CD manual for about $75.

Personally I had that sound comming from the rear driver's side tire, was just low on air pressure. But history tells us that checking the wheel bearing first is the most logical.
When that fails he/she can flame on me all he/she wants for being wrong about the the hell WAHHH WAHH WAHH means... It's supprising that he/she is getting as much help as were giving. I remember the first question I posted revieced pure hate.

no, its not the tire pressure. i checked that first for i am not an idiot. thank everyone for the info, and the opinions. i appreciate the help.

Im also have a similar problem like yours. Im getting the vibration out of the rear end and when I turn I can feel the vibration until I straighten out the steering wheel. I am doing the rear wheel bearing and replacing some of the rear diff mounts with poly mounts. Ill let you know if it fixes anything.
