Changing brake pads...hard? easy?

front = simple....back = simple if you have the "special tool"....
it is rent-able at Autozone - it worked so well that I called and asked if I could just keep it....they said fine and kept the deposit (only $35).....

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=40732</a

Rears are easy too if the ones on the car have low miles on them...
then you do not have to worry about moving the piston back into the caliper. I changed mine at about 4,000 miles and did not need the tool.

by the way, the "square thing" people talk about (you'll see...
what I'm talking about if oyu do a search) sucks in my opinion.....I could not get the thing seated correctly - or at least the piston would not turn or push in with that thing...i guess if you had 2 people - one to hold the caliper and the other to turn and push it would be OK - I did it alone and the tool I linked to above works like a dream...one of the best tools I own
(and...you can use it on almost any car with disk brakes!!!)
