Adaptive Braking Problem
Throttle lag seems manageable.
B&O is sweet!
One major concern. A car in front of me was turning right and I was going straight. I guess I was close to the back of his car, and S6 slammed on the brakes. I didn't know what was happening until I saw the graphic in the dash, and almost got rear ended. I need to figure out how to control that so it doesn't happen again.
Lots of stuff to discover.
BTW, those two spots on the grille filler panels are parking sensors, not anchor spots. They're not lenses, so appear to be okay if covered. We'll see.
Frankly, its absolutely amazing technology bordering on voodoo magic. It happened once with my buddy in the car and he's like "what the f? - your car is a witch!"
This is how the system is supposed to function it senses the car in front and if you are closing too quickly and not paying attention to the dash warning, and audible warning it jolts to brakes as an atttention grabber.
I have learned since though, that just a slight touch of the brakes will shunt off the car's desire to slam them on.
Also discovering lane assist. Pretty cool how the car keeps you in your lane when your attention may have shifted briefly.
There's like 7 sensors in front of the car. If only my radar detector was as fast as the car. It's a speeding ticket waiting to happen. Hopefully the local cops won't soon realize it's me driving it.
