Were carbon brakes available as an option outside of the U.S.? The calipers on that car look like the 'Audi Ceramic' ones. Very entertaining video. Thanks for sharing.
I saw this video last year before I made my purchase...It actually swayed me from buying a 550i over to an S6...Brilliant viral marketing scheme by Audi if they helped him produce it...
I searched in hopes of avoid the dreaded AWOT "Repost" but knowing it's this old I figured someone would have seen it before
I think he's a semi-legit car review guy judging from the other videos he has.

Given that the red car is LHD (and red) and he's in a RHD silver car, it's not clear to me what (if any) relation the red car video has to his drive I didn't think start-stop made it into production S6s at all, even in ROW, did it?
Nonetheless, he's a riot to watch and listen to - I'm still waiting to use "gentleman's vegetables" in my next conversation at work

I believe they are. About $10K if I recall correctly.
Are we able to purchase the audi carborn ceramics in the US after vehicle purchase? $10k is alot (I will likely not do it), just wondering if we at least have the option to upgrade them once the factory stock brakes are done.

Anything is possible. On the R8 retail is about $25,000 to do the upgrade, although complete sets have been advertised for around $12,000. This is for discs, calipers and and the brake booster which is different than with stock brakes.
