Installed Lowering Links - Cameras out of calibration
The links work great, as advertised. I wanted a drop similar to what I would have achieved from the dealer. The instructions state that for every 5mm shorter the links are from stock the car will drop 25mm. So I made my links approx 4mm shorter than stock to get a 20mm drop.
I finished, drove the car around for a bit, and it looks good. I was going to post photos, but it's pouring in Miami this morning. The car rides nicely, I honestly don't feel the car any harsher with the 20mm drop than it was from stock. I always have it in the lowered (dynamic) position.
The only issue I've noticed is the parking assistance cameras. On the bird's eye view of the car, the lines on the road no longer line up. This happens where the ca,era software patches the frame from the side cameras to the front and rear cameras. Again, I was going to take a pic, but the cameras were all wet.
So, what can I do? I don't want to go to the dealer to calibrate the cameras because they're going to know it was links and they're frowned upon from a warranty standpoint. Should I take it to an independent Audi shop? Can they do that? Is this possible via VAG COM?

FUSe, how's your project going? I want some pics.
DeerHunter, you got the typical dealer run-around. The images should line up perfectly and there are ways to calibrate.
