does the stock system come off in multiple pieces like the awe system or is it just one really long piece?

I actually took a picture of the stock exhaust when I got it off the car. Ill try to upload it when I get home later.

That being said, its quite a large piece. Even though the front downpipes are relatively longer than the AWE parts, the whole mid-back section will need a large storage place.

Very nice! That's the sound I'm looking for. Not sure when I'll pull the trigger but thanks for your review and video comparisons!

Would the stock parts fit in the car with the seats down?

Can be suspended from the ceiling or rafters on the inside of a garage

No way, too wide. It could be down the middle to separate the sides and then it would fit but then you would have an issue when putting it back in later on.

A buddy of mine has 2x4 lumber and other plywood sheets hanging from his ceiling above his Corvette! In the 15 years that I've known him it hasn't fallen, so I guess it's a function of how well the shelf/supports are hung.

Good to live somewhere other than California where earthquakes make hanging stuff over your vehicles in your garage a dicey proposition at best!

For those who asked, this is what the stock exhaust looks like off the car. Unless you hack it up, it wont fit in your trunk to take it home.

Mother of god, that's huge. Forget about my idea of getting this thing installed at AWE. I would certainly want to keep the stock exhaust and don't see how that would be possible if I have it installed at their shop.

Looks like I'm going to be installing this thing on my back in my garage!
