Well, it's still pretty good.

As far as price, I'll be the S7 has a base price in the high $80K's. So you could get one for less than $90K, or add all the options and end up close to $100K.[/QUOTE]

Going for the high end so you'll be pleasantly suprised??

No S variant has that kind of markup over the base. But hopefully we'll see in a month or so.

Agreed. At the end of the day, the S7 and S6 compete smack dab with the 550i Xdrive M package. That's a $75K car with the usual options. Audi isn't going to price its competition in M5 territory. So figure mid to high 70s for the S6 and low 80s for the S7 with typical options.

The Autoblog review was good.. The only quibbles I have, is that the Sport differential is standard in the USA, and as that represents one of his complaints in a review aimed at the US market, I think it was worth noting. And then the leather and wheel options may not be as available in our option packages as the overseas models. I don't think we have Valcona nor Alcantara options.

Yah the article didn't seem to have the package details accurate for the US version....you should read through some of the comments on the article. They are obnoxious....the commenters seem to think that the 24.5 mpg quoted in the article is for the hwy and in EU cycle numbers and that the MB cls gets way better mpg. Lol makes me wish I could slap some education and the ability to read critically into those people!

According to the 2013 Order Guide both the standard and Comfort Seat are Valcona leather (Comfort seat comes without diamond stitching).

The Autoblog guys just updated their article to say that the sport differential is in fact standard on the US S7
